Tom Goode of Rita Corp. Dies

Long-time vice president of sales was 63.

Thomas J. Goode, VP-sales at Rita Corp., died on Dec. 31, 2021.  He was 63. Tom was born July 25, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Goode.  He earned a master's degree in criminology.

He was employed by Rita Corp. for 34 years. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, and enjoyed golf, and watching football and baseball.

Tom was well-known, and well-liked, throughout the cosmetics industry.

“Tom was bigger than life,” noted Bart Falco, VP-sales, Rita Corp. “He knew everybody and everybody knew him. His contagious laugh was recognizable from across a trade show floor.”

Tom is survived by his children, Joseph and Madeline Goode of Crystal Lake; his brother, Brian (Kathy) Goode of Crystal Lake; and his nephews, Michael and Christopher Goode.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Maryanne and Theresa Goode.
