Patrick Rasquinet will succeed Vincent Warnery as head of Beiersdorf’s pharmacy and selective division on July 1. Rasquinet will also join Beiersdorf’s executive board. The move follows the appointment of Warnery to chief executive officer of Beiersdorf on May 1.

Rasquinet began his career at Beiersdorf in 1993. For the next 17 years, he worked in cosmetics in Belgium, Brazil, South Korea, Russia and the US. Since 2010, Rasquinet has led the La Prairie selective cosmetics brand.

In another appointment, Oswald Barckhahn will lead the group’s Europe and North America division. Barckhahn is joining Beiersdorf on October 15 from Jacobs Douwe Egberts, where he served as president Europe and head of global sales and e-commerce. Barckhahn will take on the responsibility of the group’s cosmetics business in Europe and North America. He will succeed Thomas Ingelfinger, who will retire in 2022.
