A Look at Twitter’s Beauty Universe

New data shows which brands generated the most engagement on the platform.

From July 2019 to July 2020, there were more than 118 million Tweets about #beauty on Twitter, according to the social platform's first ever beauty trend report.

During that time, the top 10 beauty brands driving the most engagement on the platform were: 
 
Colour Pop Cosmetics
Fenty Beauty 
Morphe
Kylie Cosmetics
Fourth Ray Beauty
Tarte Cosmetics
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Coloured Raine Cosmetics
Elf Cosmetics
Unilever
 
And, it seems as if the bird is all about the word; less than half of all tweets about beauty included photos, underscoring that #BeautyTwitter is where people come to talk about beauty, not show it. According to Sprinklr, 56% beauty brands' tweets were text-based.
