AAK Names New National Account Manager

AAK USA hired Gita Calton as national account manager for cosmetics and personal care in the East Coast region. Calton’s primary responsibility will be the continual development of AAK's vegetable based cosmetics ingredients consisting of bioactives, functional modifiers, and derivatives such as Lipex Shea Tris, Lipex Sheasoft, and Lipex Shea Betaine in the Eastern region of the United States. She will report directly to John O’Keefe, director AAK Lipids for Care, North America.

 

Prior to joining AAK, Calton was a sales manager with Fuji Vegetable Oil, Inc. and the key account manager with Lipid Nutrition B.V. She earned a B.A. in marketing and an MBA from Vilnius University, Lithuania, and is a currently pursuing an M.S. at Mercy College.
