Industry leaders and experts will share insights and discuss leveraging green chemistry to develop safer, more effective and environmentally friendly cleaning solutions that comply with new standards while setting the stage for future innovation during the 2025 American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Industry Convention.

With the EPA’s regulations becoming more stringent, the cleaning products industry continues to face challenges and opportunities in the journey toward a more sustainable future.

The session will explore how green chemistry serves as a critical tool in navigating this evolving regulatory landscape.

“The Future of Cleaning: Navigating the Green Frontier: Innovating with Chemistry Amid Evolving Regulations” will take place Jan. 30 during ACI’s Convention Week, Jan. 27-31, 2025, at the Grande Lakes Orlando in Orlando, FL and will feature the following speakers:

Eric Steen, founder and CEO Lygos, Inc.;
John Gugel, CEO, Future Origins;
Jonathan Hague, vice president of household care, R&D Port Sunlight, Unilever; and
Moderator: Darius Stanton, director, regulatory science, ACI.
