The palm tree symbol of Acme-Hardesty is a familiar sight at the annual NYSCC Suppliers’ Day. This year, the company reports a variety of specialty esters and surfactants big for 2009. Specialty esters such as butyl ester, butyl stearate, EGDS (ethylene glycol di stearate) and EGMS (ethylene glycol mono stearate) top the list, to name a few. The surfactants selection features cocomonoethanolamide, cocoamidopropyl amine oxide and cocobetaine and many others.
