Acuity Brands announced sales jumped 13% to $674.5 million for the fourth quarter ended August 31, 2006. Net income increased nearly 50% to $41.4 million. For the year, net income more than doubled to $106.6 million, while net sales increased 10% to nearly $2.4 billion.
