The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) announced the recipients of the 2020 AIHA Named Awards, which honor individuals who have significantly contributed to the industrial hygiene and occupational and environmental health and safety professions. “I am always amazed by the hard work and dedication that these IH/OH professionals demonstrate. They truly deserve this recognition of all their efforts and contributions to the profession and community,” said AIHA president Kathy Murphy, CIH. “It is because of every one of them that we can move a bit closer to healthier and safer workplaces. I am so proud of their continued commitment and congratulate all winners of the 2020 AIHA Named Awards.” The Awards and Fellows Nominating Committee selects award winners. The committee, chaired by the current AIHA past president, also includes the AIHA past-past president and four other members selected from the general membership through the open call process.
