Alcan Packaging Introduces Round Tray

Alcan Pacakaging introduced some of its new packaging applications at Cosmoprof Bologna held in March. The beauty packaging creation, designed by Michel Limongi, is a SAN/ABS mini-palette for lipgloss or eyeshadow. When consumers twist it, the package reveals each of the three compartments in turn as they line up in the front shell of the window. The pack is just over 2 inches long, making it easy to fit into handbags.
The Round Tray has a built-in foam applicator hidden in the center of the cylinder. A brush version is also available. An ergonomic, snap-on handle ensures a safe grip. Consumers can change their lipstick or eye shadow at any of time with the choice of three colors. With its small volumes, Round Tray will also be a hit with fickle consumers who enjoy changing products and styles frequently. Smarter tubes have also been a focus for Alcan Packaging. Since the launch of the Artist tube in 2006, Alcan Packaging Beauty has broadened its range of smart applicator tubes suited to the different formulations on the market. These tubes combine comfort with precise application, convenient packaging and ease of use, whether for makeup or skin care, face or body.
