Anti-Acne and Anti-Dandruff Ingredients from Beraca

Beraca (Stand No. K70) will present the concentrate systems AAA (Anti-Acne Active System) and ADA (Anti-dandruff Active System), which have recently gained Ecocert approval.

According to Filipe Sabará, business director at Beraca, the current market for anti-acne and anti-dandruff ingredients has only natural and synthetic options. “We are pioneers in organic certification for both categories while ensuring traceability and efficacy of our products,” he said.

The company will also be launching a new ingredient at the event. It’s the Biofunctional Cupuaçu Extract, an Ecocert-certified extract that moisturizes and enhances elasticity of very dry skin. Developed from the Brazilian native fruit cupuaçu, it has revitalizing and antioxidant properties and is indicated for use in anti-aging creams and after-sun lotions.

The formulation is part of the BioFunctional Extracts line, which consists of water soluble extracts sourced from fruits as açaí and buriti, which can be used for different applications, especially in rinse-off products.

Beraca will be promoting products from its three main lines that compose the Health & Personal Care division:

* Rain Forest Specialties – Comprises fixed oils, essential oils, extracts, resins, clays and butters sustainably sourced from the Amazon rainforest.

* Active Performance Systems – Contains 100% natural active ingredients blended for specific applications in hair and skin care.

* BioScrubs – Vegetal exfoliating agents developed to provide a stimulating scrub action to personal care products with low abrasion.
