Natural extracts with real anti-aging activity

Chemyunion introduced three new anti-aging actives during In-Cosmetics. Revinage is a supercritical fluid apolar extract of Bidens pilosa. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, as well as lightening effects, according to Chemyunion. It also is said to regulate the proteins that are responsible for cell replication. Physavie is a supercritical fluid apolar extract of Physalis sp. According to Chemyunion, it imparts similar effects as hydrocortisone without the corticoid side effects; i.e., it does not promote immunosupression increase nor reduce tissue growth factors levels. ECOffea is a glycerin-based extract from organic green coffee seed cake standardizedin total phenolics. Validated by Ecocert, it is said to normalize skin metabolism, which improves the lifetime of young cells, according to Chemyunion.
