AM Cosmetics, North Arlington, NJ, announced today that Arne Zimmerman will step down from his position as president and chief executive officer at the end of the year. Stephen Heit, the company’s chief financial officer has been named acting president while the company conducts a search for a permanent president and CEO.“It is the right time to move on to new challenges,” said Mr. Zimmerman. “The company is now well-positioned as a dominant leader in the value segment of our industry.”“It is a testament to Arne’s leadership that AM has moved through the difficult times of the past to become the premier value brand cosmetics company in the U.S.” said Mr. Heit. “We now have a company that is not only financially stable, but is poised for future growth.”
