Atlantic Coast Media Group—the company behind Hydroxatone— is now operating as Atlantic Coast Brands. The name change comes on the heels of another successful year of double digit growth in sales and continued expansion of channel distribution, according to the Jersey City, NJ-based company.

“The new name – Atlantic Coast Brands – is a more accurate representation of our business and how it has evolved over the past 10 years,” said Andrew Surwilo, co-founder and co-CEO. “As a company we have created individual products and developed them into 4 unique brands, each with their own distinctive point of view.   This name change is the next logical evolution as we continue to grow as a company and nurture our brands.”

Atlantic Coast Brands, was founded in 2005 with Hydroxatone, which marks its 10th anniversary this month. Launched through direct-to-consumer advertising, Hydroxatone quickly grew through multi-channel marketing and retail distribution. The skin care brand achieved over $100 million in annual sales by 2010 and exceeded over $1 billion in total sales since its initial launch.

The company also owns hair care line Keranique, which is sold Ulta, Nordstrom, QVC and in multi-channel direct response including DRTV, radio, web, and print media, and Christie Brinkley Authentic Skin Care, it’s newest brand.  Christie Brinkley Authentic Skin Care debuted in March on HSN.
