l RUSSIA: Avon Products, New York, and Sweden’s Oriflame plan to start production of beauty products in 2004 in Russia, according to the Vedomosti publication. Executives said together, Avon and Oriflame will invest $60 million in the project. Moscow authorities said they have allocated two separate parcels of land for the plants and distribution centers.
