Avon Names Toth Exec VP, International

Avon Products, Inc. has named Robert Toth to the new position of executive vice president, international, effective Feb. 1. He will return to the U.S. to work at the company’s New York headquarters, following 11 years in Europe. In his new role, Mr. Toth will be responsible for the company’s Latin America region, in addition to his current responsibilities for Avon’s markets in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Toth previously served as executive vice president, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East. A 25-year Avon veteran, Mr. Toth joined the company in the U.S. as a supervisor in customer service, and advanced through increasingly responsible positions in the company’s sales organization.

The company also said that it has named John Owen as senior vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Owen joined Avon in 1980 and has risen through various positions in finance and operations. Since 2002, he has been senior vice president, business transformation.
