Awesome Products To Expand Operations

Awesome Products, Inc., a manufacturer of laundry detergent, fabric softener, household bleach and cleaning chemicals sold at dollar stores, will open a new facility in Marked Tree, AR and expand its current West Memphis, AR facilities. The $44 million investment will include more than 240 new jobs, according to the company. Awesome Products, based in Buena Park, CA, has been manufacturing household detergents at two facilities in West Memphis since 2004. Its household and laundry products are sold throughout the country at retailers such as Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General and Fred’s. Senator Blanche Lincoln worked with the Economic Development Administration to secure a grant that will allow Marked Tree to construct a rail spur, infrastructure Awesome Products needs to begin manufacturing operations in the area. The firm also has manufacturing and distribution centers in Paterson, NJ and Orange County, CA.
