Bakuchiol NAD⁺ BCR is a next‑generation longevity active developed by Grant Industries, in partnership with Bio Component Research (BCR). Set to make its formal debut at In‑Cosmetics Global Paris next week, this new component is designed to elevate one of skincare’s most trusted botanicals into the era of cellular longevity.

Accordng to Grant, Bakuchiol NAD⁺ BCR represents a new approach to age‑defying performance, where advanced ester chemistry meets modern skin biology.

Bakuchiol NAD⁺ BCR is a patent‑pending ester of bakuchiol and niacin (vitamin B3), engineered to deliver dual‑pathway benefits that address both visible aging and the underlying decline in cellular repair mechanisms. By uniting these two well‑known actives into a single optimized molecule, the ingredient overcomes traditional formulation limitations, enhancing skin penetration, improving tolerability, and unlocking performance not achievable when the components are used separately, according to Grant.

“At BCR, we focus on advancing skin longevity through intelligent molecular design,” said Sonal Patel‑Trivedi, VP of business development at BCR. “Bakuchiol NAD⁺ BCR was developed to support NAD⁺ pathways while maintaining the familiar efficacy and consumer trust associated with bakuchiol. It delivers meaningful biological activity across multiple aging pathways, offering formulators a truly next‑generation solution.”

At the cellular level, Bakuchiol NAD⁺ BCR is designed to support NAD⁺ biosynthesis, a critical cofactor that declines with age and environmental stress. Internal testing demonstrates significant improvements in the NAD⁺/NADH ratio alongside reinforcement of DNA repair pathways. These longevity benefits are complemented by strong performance in familiar anti‑aging markers, including collagen and elastin support, hydration, barrier repair, and antioxidant protection.

The ingredient is delivered in vitamin F Glyceryl Esters, a solvent system rich in omega‑3 and omega‑6 fatty acids known to enhance penetration, improve sensory performance, and support skin barrier health—making Bakuchiol NAD⁺ BCR both formulation‑friendly and performance‑driven.

“Bakuchiol NAD⁺ BCR reflects how we see the future of beauty innovation,” said Naomi Bedford, marketing director at Grant Industries. “It connects proven actives with the longevity story consumers are actively seeking today.”
