Balenciaga Taps Home Fragrance Market

The L’Essence by Balenciaga candle makes a debut.

Inspired by the latestperfume from Coty, Balenciaga has created a home fragrance: “L’Essence” the candle. According to the company, it creates an atmosphere of its own, an ambience characterized by the fragrant interplay of leaves, delicate flowers and soft mosses.

The sophisticated home fragrance SKU, with a violet note, continues the history of Balenciaga perfumes and the flower chosen by Nicolas Ghesquière as the embodiment of his fragrant story.

The scented candle is available now at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Balenciaga boutiques for $65 and will be available at all specialty stores starting in November 2011.
