Balmain Hair Marks 50th Anniversary With Hair Fragrance Trio

Ginger 1974, Cardamom 1974 and Vetiver 1974 are crafted by perfumer Cécile Zarokian.

To mark Balmain Hair’s 50th anniversary in business, the hair care brand is introducing three hair fragrances under The Heritage Collection. 
 
Ginger 1974 Hair Perfume blends ginger, fir balsam, gourmand notes, suede and clean white musk to leave hair smelling warm and indulgent per marketers. Top notes are bergamot, black pepper oil and ginger oil; heart notes are vanilla, fir balsam, floral and cardamom and cumin oils; and base notes are oakmoss, gourmand, amber and cashmere woods, cedarwood, suede and white musk.
 
Cardamom 1974 blends cardamom, lemon, vanilla, and blackcurrant. This unique blend of ingredients creates a warm, sweet and uplifting perfume, per marketers. Top notes are black pepper, cardamom oil, bergamot, lemon oil and green notes; heart notes are vanilla, rose, blackcurrant, floral and patchouili MD; base notes include ambroxan, cedarwood, gourmand and white musks.
 
Vetiver 1974 is a blend of grapefruit, florals, vetiver, cedarwood and balsams. The blend creates a bright, fresh and grounding scent that will leave hair smelling fragrant all day long.
 
Crafted by Niche Fragrance Award-winning perfumer Cécile Zarokian, each of these unisex scents is formulated with premium ingredients, designed to elevate hair’s natural allure while delivering a long-lasting, aromatic experience. Top notes include grapefruit, rhubarb, elemi oil, bergamot and orange and black pepper oils. Heart notes are geranium oil, rose, lily of the valley and patchouli MD. Base notes are vetiver, cedarwood and guaiacwood oils, vanilla, amber and balsams.
 
The Heritage Collection launches Dec. 1 at Net-A-Porter.com and Jan. 1, 2024, at Balmainhair.us, Balmain Hair Salons and other select retailers for $177 each.
