BASF Care Chemicals and StitchCrew have revealed the six finalists in The Inclusive Beauty Accelerator.

The program—which is specifically designed for early-stage companies in the personal care and beauty space committed to creating innovative and inclusive products—provides each entrepreneur with a six-week training curriculum; mentorship from BASF’s technical team and extended network; BASF lab access; a $10,000 non-dilutive stipend, and exposure to CPG investors.

The finalists are “self-aware” founders who have a personal connection with the market they are trying to serve and are deeply committed to creating true value for their customers and growing their company, said BASF. They are creating products – spanning hair care, skin care, and sun care – that celebrate the rich history of BIPOC individuals and families, while addressing their specific needs:

Alodia, created by a PhD Scientist, Trichologist and MD Physician, is a clinically proven hair and scalp care line that uses virtual hair and scalp consultations and personalized regimens to help resolve chronic scalp conditions and help with hair care styling.
