A court in Nanterre, France, on Friday ruled that Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, the granddaughter of L’Oréal’s founder Liliane Bettencourt, has a case against the photographer François-Marie Banier.

The trial will be held April 15 and 16. In the meantime, the court ruled that Liliane Bettencourt must undergo medical evaluation by three doctors appointed by the court. Their analysis will be due by March 10.

In December 2007, Bettencourt Meyers lodged a complaint in the prosecutor’s office of Nanterre for “exploitation of weakness” of her mother.
