Skin care brand Bio-Oil has created a documentary in the hopes of inspiring and providing support for burn survivors in honor of fire prevention week, which runs from Oct. 4-10.

For each share of the video, $1 on behalf of the brand—up to $25,000—will be donated to the Phoenix Society at the World Burn Congresstaking place Oct. 21-24.

Every year, more than 486,000 people receive medical treatment for a burn injury. The physical recovery aspects can take months or years and may involve numerous reconstructive surgeries and therapies, but the emotional and psychological challenges can run deep.
