By transforming catwalk trends to custom nail color palettes, Butter London nail polish has developed a passionate following around the globe. Known for its “three-free” formulation, punchy colors and quirky names, the brandhas also been a backstage feature at Fashion Week.Founding Creative Director Nonie Crème has been a backstage fixture at the shows for years.

Reflecting on the Spring/Summer 2012 shows and Butter London’s latest collection, she said, “What a season! Pops of 80’s neon color everywhere, tempered by sherbet pastels and cool neutrals. It left us plenty to play with in the nail realm. I’ve mixed a couple of softer opaque shades in cantaloupe and pale pistachio, and followed up with an intense retro turquoise and slightly glittery hot pink. Finally, a quietly marvelous sheer oyster that packs a tiny punch with micro glitter particles for those seeking a new way to wear neutral.”

The Spring/Summer 2012 collection features fun hues such as Disco Biscuit, a tropical hot pink with an undercurrent of tiny iridescent glitter particles; Trout Pout, an opaque shade of retro cantaloupe; and Slapper. A true teal; to name a few colors.

The nail polishes retail for $14 and are sold global in select stores and online at www.butterlondon.com.
