Bring Essential Oils to Work

Kit offers a way to utilize aromatherapy outside of the home.

Bring aromatherapy to the office – without the risk of soaking your valuable electronics – with Aura Cacia’s new, waterless USB essential oil diffuser, Aromatherapy Air. It uses a quiet, cool-wind fan and wick — not water or heat — to diffuse essential oil for truly portable, USB-powered operation. Its size makes it ideal for offices, bedrooms and other small spaces.

Recent consumer research found that while only 9 percent of users were using essential oils to freshen air at work, the idea appeals to 46 percent.

“We saw an opportunity to make it easier to diffuser essential oils at your desk,” said Shannon Ousley, director of Aura Cacia Marketing. “This diffuser takes water out of the equation, while offering ideal coverage for an office or other small room.”

Aromatherapy Air covers up to 160 sq. ft. and has a suggested retail price is $39.99. The diffuser will be available in stores beginning May 2016.

Need to cover more space? Aura Cacia also introduced Aromatherapy Mist, an ultrasonic diffuser ideal for large spaces, with coverage up to 538 sq. ft. Aromatherapy Mist has a suggested retail price of $64.99. It will be available in stores beginning in May 2016.
