Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker recently joined Wisconsin-based Carma Laboratories, makers of the world-famous Carmex lip balm, in celebrating the company’s 75th anniversary. Carma Labs employees and members of the Woelbing family celebrated as Governor Scott Walker and others proclaimed July 19 as Carmex 75th Anniversary Day. Founded by Alfred Woelbing in 1937, Carma Laboratories is a third-generation, family owned and operated business that is currently run by Alfred’s grandsons, Paul and Eric Woelbing. Today, Carmex is one the top-selling lip balm and skin care product companies in the US and in more than 25 countries.
