Centerchem Inc. has acquired DIOW Products, Inc., a supplier of ingredients and novel functional technologies for the cosmetic and personal care industry since 1999. According to Centerchem, DIOW places strong emphasis on quality, customer service and new product development. Mark Palumbo, founder of DIOW, will join Centerchem as vice president. The DIOW family of products include: • LumyNel polymers, • Organza, StrataGel and DiowGel silicones, • DiowSperse and DiowShield dispersions, • Diocide preservatives, • Petalatum, • Hydrakelp, • Gly-Rabinan, • AuraSperse wrinkle-veiling polymer dispersion technology and • DSP 250 and Penstia Powder products. Centerchem also announced plans to established a West Coast Centerchem office in the near future. It will enhance Centerchem’s existing presence on the West Coast through its current representation by The E.T. Horn Company, located in La Mirada, CA.
