New Children’s Pepto and Philadelphia Eagles kicker David Akers announced the launch of the “Kick In For Kids” program. “Kick In For Kids” is a program from Children’s Pepto that will contribute money to David’s charity, Kicks For Kids, to benefit deserving families during the holiday season. From Halloween through New Years Day, Children’s Pepto will donate money to Kicks for Kids, for every point that Akers scores. Because Mr. Akers is out due to a recent injury, Children’s Pepto has agreed to donate money for every point that Cincinnati Bengals kicker and Kicks For Kids board member, Shayne Graham scores, until Mr. Ackers is back in the game. Children’s Pepto, made by The Procter & Gamble Company, comes in easy-to-take, great-tasting Bubble Gum and Watermelon flavored calcium carbonate tablets. A kid-tested, mom-approved product, Children’s Pepto is specially formulated for children ages 2-11, and is aspirin- free and not formulated with salicylates. As part of the program’s community outreach, Mr. Akers has even enrolled the help of fellow professional place kickers, Phil Dawson of the Cleveland Browns, Shayne Graham of the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packer kicker, Ryan Longwell. For Halloween all 4 kickers spent time with children at their local hospitals, with a Halloween event that included special treats from Children’s Pepto and the “Kick In For Kids” program. Additionally, during Thanksgiving, the Children’s Pepto “Kick In For Kids” program will support a very special community effort, as Kicks For Kids will serve meals to deserving families. At the annual Kicks for Kids Christmas Party, “Kick In For Kids” program and Children’s Pepto will donate gifts to deserving families. And at the December 11th Philadelphia Eagles/New York Giants game, a family will be in attendance thanks to Children’s Pepto and the “Kick In For Kids” Program.
