Clean Beauty Brand Odele Expands Haircare Into Amazon

Odele’s range of products are formulated by hair type and are vegan.

Odele's haircare line spans from shampoos to stylers.

Minneapolis-based clean hair care brand Odele is expanding with a new Amazon storefront.

Odele—the phonetic translation of “å dele,” which means ‘to share’ in Norwegian—was created by entrepreneurs Lindsay Holden, Britta Chatterjee and Shannon Kearney, with the mission of “uncomplicating and democratizing the beauty space with clean, premium, inclusive products,” said the company.

The line first launched in January 2020 exclusively at Target and DTC before expanding their retail footprint with Ulta Beauty and CVS Pharmacy in February 2023. The new Amazon storefront allows for Odele to continue to show up where their guests are shopping, contends the company.

According to co-founder Britta Chatterjee: “We are always striving to deliver an elevated, inclusive experience and premium performance at an accessible price point, wherever our consumer is…and there is no denying that consumer is on Amazon. The platform is ripe for trial and discovery when it comes to beauty, certainly, but it also allows for us to amplify our online presence far beyond our own site.”
