Clorox Names Vice President-General Manager of Asia-Pacific

The Clorox Company today announced that Warwick Every-Burns, 48, has been promoted to the position of vice president-general manager of the Asia-Pacific division and elected an officer of the company. Based in Sydney, Australia, Mr. Every-Burns will have responsibility for the company’s operations in Africa, Australia, China, Korea, New Zealand and the Philippines, along with its international trade business.

Mr. Every-Burns previously served as Clorox’s vice-president and general manager for Africa, Australia, New Zealand and a portion of the company’s business in Asia. Following 15 years with Unilever in Australia, he joined NationalPak of Australia in 1990 as general manager of sales and marketing, rising to managing director of the company in 1995. Clorox acquired the NationalPak businesses as part of its 1999 merger with First Brands Corp. He undertook post-graduate studies in strategic marketing at the Darden School at the University of Virginia, completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in 1996, and completed his accountancy at the Sydney Technical College in 1973.
