● Patent No. US 6,608,011 B2: Colgate- Palmolive Company, New York, NY, patented a pearlized shampoo comprising an anionic material, a behenyl alcohol, a higher fatty alkanolamide nonionic material, an amphoteric material, a cationic material, a silicone, dimethicones, a pH-modifying agent and water. The behenyl alcohol with or without a suspending agent is used to stabilize the composition.
