US Patent No. 9,351,922 B2; Thomas Christopher Balshi of Delray Beach, FL has patented a composition for correcting a skin pigment condition. The composition contains zinc oxide, octinoxate, α-arbutin, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, water, ascorbic acid; bis-vinyl dimethicone copolymer; camellia sinensis leaf (green tea) extract; C13-14 isoparaffin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cucumis sativus fruit extract, cyclomethicone, dimethicone, ethylhexylglycerin, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, glycrrhiza glabra extract, helianthus annuus oil, laureth-7, niacinamide, parfum, PEG-100 stearate, phenoxyethanol, polyacrylamide, polysorbate-20, punica granatum extract and tocopheryl acetate.

The α-arbutin is present in a range of 0.5-2% by weight; ascorbic acid is present in a range of 0.25-2% by weight; green tea extract is present in a range of 0.05-0.25% by weight; lycyrrhiza glabra extract is present in a range of 0.10-0.5% by weight, and niacinamide is present in a range of 0.025-0.25% by weight.
