US Patent No. 9,345,649 B2; Avon Products, Inc. has patented a cosmetic composition for application to a biologic substrate wherein the composition comprises a fractal gel comprising an admixture of a first fractal particle and a second fractal particle. The fractal gel obtained from an aqueous dispersion of the first and second fractal particles, wherein the aqueous dispersion has a given pH; the first fractal particle has a surface charge at said given pH; and the second fractal particle has a surface charge of opposite polarity at said given pH. The first and second fractal particles form a gel at said given pH by charge neutralization.
