Not all of the testimony heard in Washington D.C. this week centered on impeachment. On Wednesday, Dec. 4, cosmetic industry stakeholders, EWG and FDA took part in a legislative hearing on “Building Consumer Confidence by Empowering FDA to Improve Cosmetic Safety.” Witnesses witnesses included: • Susan Mayne, Ph.D., director, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, US Food and Drug Administration • M.
