Cosmogen created the contouring brush for Backstage, Dior’s new professional brushes. It was inspired by the company’s Tear Drop brushes with its inherited drop shape ferrule and tuft. The narrow side enables application of formula in hard to reach areas such as eye contour or nose, while the rounded side covers the broader areas of the face. The dense and flat tuft provides a lifting effect and allows to adjust the coverage for a professional and harmonious makeup result. The brush was customized with a matte-black-lacquered wood handle, a shiny-silver- colored ferrule, made of nickel-brass and an ivory colored synthetic tuft. The complete range consists of six brushes: foundation brush, sculpting brush, concealer brush, eye brush, lip brush and a fresh-faced brush especially made for an aqueous formula.
