Coty Announces New Corporate Purpose and Vision

On a mission to create forward thinking beauty with products that provide “simply better science-based solutions.”

Coty—No. 9 in Happi's 2022 Top 50 Report— unveiled a new corporate identity today. Centered around the value of “fearless kindness,” Coty says its new company purpose is: “together, we unleash every vision of beauty.” 

The beauty company says the announcement represents the next phase in Coty’s growth under the vision and leadership of CEO Sue Y. Nabi.

“Beauty has always been, and will always be, at the heart of society and culture. The question of what is beautiful has built and fueled our industry through time,” said Nabi. “We believe that today, no one can control or should dictate what is or is not beautiful. Beauty is formless, like water, a constantly evolving and adapting concept. Therefore, we need to undefine the notion of beauty.”

In making the announcement, Coty said it is on mission to create forward thinking beauty: products that provide new, innovative and simply better science-based solutions.

Earlier this month, the company provided details about its new plan to expand its expertise and sales in skincare.

Coty says it has codified its corporate values and its processes, businesses and people are now anchored in this philosophy.

The new vision was launched internally over the summer, according to the beauty giant, which owns Philosophy skincare and an extensive collection of perfumes and fragrances.
