Who needs a bracelet when you you can use a cream to get your fix of pain-relieving copper. Quest Products' new CopperFixx is a pain relief cream and patch that utilizes copper as its primary active ingredient. This is the first copper based analgesic cream and patch for consumers in the US, according to the company. CopperFixx is available in Walgreens. According to the company, unlike copper bracelets or compression sleeves, CopperFixx is applied directly at the site of the pain making it the most efficient delivery method of copper based pain relief.

“Copper has always been known to help relieve the aches and pains of certain afflictions, as well as everyday activities,” said Don Ryan, president/CEO of Quest Products. “Until now, no one had figured out how to produce it in a highly concentrated and consumer-friendly form.”

Copper's antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties have been used for centuries as an aid in relieving pain, easing joint stiffness and providing increased energy and overall well-being, according to Quest Products. CopperFixx helps to assist in reducing aches and pains, assists in rebuilding new connective tissue and increasing blood circulation, and can help with a reduction in swelling and inflammation. The product is also homeopathic, with arnica added with a natural heating element to provide warmth and comfort. Copper-based products have been strong performers in retail and pharmacy locations for active lifestyle customers seeking pain relief. Quest Products is expanding the copper category by adding product extensions that haven't been available previously.

“We think that CopperFixx® will revolutionize the topical analgesic category,” said Mark McGreevy, EVP-business development at Quest. “We're launching CopperFixx at Walgreens, working with other retailers, and creating a new category of pain relief treatment.”
