Credo Taps Brand at Indie Beauty Expo

In partnership with Indie Beauty Expo, natural beauty shopping hub Credo hosted its first Credo Pitch at their New York City location this week. Credo held an open call for submissions from brands that were exhibiting at IBE, to have an opportunity to pitch their brand story and products to a panel of experts and a store packed with eager consumers. The winning brand was awarded a meeting with Credo’s merchandizing team.
 
After receiving a staggering 85 submissions, the Credo executive team narrowed it down to five top brands, including Alder New YorkAllyoosApto SkincareO’o Hawaii and Yuyo Botanics. Each brand was given three minutes to deliver their pitch followed by a round of questions from the expert panel. Live voting was done on-site via text, as well as via Instagram for those who followed along at home. 
 
The panel of judges challenged each brand on their retail strategy, ingredient sustainability and sourcing and point of difference.

Credo is pleased to announce that based on judge feedback and voting results, that Alder New York was named the winner of the first-ever Credo Pitch! Founded by best friends Nina Zilka and David J.
