At its annual meeting, the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) unveiled the expansion of a service that helps companies form and manage groups to meet data requests from government agencies and to support industry scientific ventures. The newly rebranded program will be known as the Research & Regulatory Management Council.

The Research & Regulatory Management Council was formerly known as the Product Ingredient Review Program. About 50 groups have successfully addressed a range of issues including: Federal, state and international regulatory compliance, laboratory accreditation, research and development and safety and efficacy. Research & Regulatory Management Council groups are typically comprised of CSPA members and non-CSPA members, both domestic and foreign.

“The Research & Regulatory Management Council provides unparalleled expertise in rapidly uniting diverse industry representatives into well organized, and highly effective coalitions and working groups,” said Susan Little, executive director of the Research & Regulatory Management Council. “Our affiliation with the CSPA ensures immediate, cost-effective access to expertise, from issue-specific technical knowledge, through legal counsel, administrative support, and budget administration.”
