The Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) promoted Joe Yost, director, strategic issues advocacy, to senior director. He joined CSPA in 1995. “Joe’s promotion is well deserved. Over the years he has become an invaluable asset to the association and a vital contributor to its strategic legislative efforts,” said Phil Klein, executive vice president of legislative and public affairs. “He has a successful track record that is a reflection of his extensive knowledge of the many complex issues he manages.” As senior director of strategic issues advocacy, Yost will continue to lead CSPA’s Air Care Division and serve as the association’s principal liaison to the senior staff of state government regulatory agencies. His new responsibilities include addressing legal issues related to the modernization of the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 (TSCA), consumer product ingredient disclosure, and other federal legislative matters.
