Noted Dermatologist Steven Q. Wang and his father, Gui T. Wang, Lac a licensed acupuncturist, have created Dr. Wang Skincare, a two-SKU line of skin care products that are designed to treat eczema and psoriasis. Each 2oz. container retails for $29.99. The eczema treatment is comprised of a proprietary blend of natural herbs, natural oils, vitamin E, shea butter and ceramides. The product is designed and created for people with eczema, atopic dermatits, seborrehic dermatitis, and topical steroid withdrawal syndrome. It is suitable for men, women and children. According to the company, the eczema treatment is clinically proven to provide immediate and lasting relief for itch. It is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of eczema and dermatitis. It helps repair and rebuild skin barrier and to restore dry and cracked skin back to normal and healthy skin. Finally, the product is said to be safe, effective, and gentle. It contains no steroids, salicylic acid, coal tar, parabens, fragrance, mineral oil or petrolatum.


Psoriasis Ointment Natural Repair is said to combine the best of Chinese herbal tradition and Western medicine. It incorporates Psoriaplex, which is billed as a unique blend of natural Chinese herbs that have powerful anti-inflammatory properties to reduce inflammation seen in psoriasis skin. The formula is infused with a cocktail of natural oils and vitamin E to moisturize skin and relieve itchy, dry and cracked skin. It is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of psoriasis, according to the company. The product has a purple color derived from the combination of Chinese herbs. It is a powerful ointment; only a small amount of product is needed for each application to targeted sites. The product is safe, effective, and gentle. It contains no steroids, salicylic acid, coal tar, parabens, fragrance, mineral oil or petroleum.


“In early 2012, I showed my dad a scientific publication that used Chinese herbs to successfully treat psoriatic patients who failed a number of conventional Western medicine,” recalled Dr. Wang in a statement. “To my great surprise, my dad read the article and said 'this is not a new treatment; we used those same herbs when I was practicing in China.'”


The father-and-son team set about to create formulas based on Chinese herbs backed by Western science. Dr. Wang is with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is the director of dermatologic surgery and dermatology, and heads the dermatologic section in Basking Ridge, NJ. DHe has extensive experience in treating skin conditions. He has an active clinical research program with a focus in photoprotection, antioxidants, nanotechnology and skin health. He has published three books and more than 85 scientific articles in dermatology and medical journals. Dr. Wang lectures extensively in the US and around the world, and served as a scientific and medical consultant for a number of international cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies. In recognition of his expertise, he has been featured and quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Oprah Magazine, CNN, Happi and many other media.


Gui T. Wang, Lac is a licensed acupuncturist who has been practicing acupuncture and herbal treatments for more than 40 years. He serves as the founder and director of the New York City Acupuncture Center. During the past four decades, he has treated tens of thousands of patients. In recognition of his compassion, clinical experience, deep understanding in acupuncture & herbal medicine, he has received the Best Acupuncturist Award. Aside from treating patients, he studies and formulates unique combinations of Chinese herbs to help his patients.
