Dry Idea Gets Fashion Forward

Antiperspirant to host sweepstakes for glamorous trip to NYC.

Dry Idea, a leading women’s antiperspirant brand, announced a sweepstakes for sweat-free fashionistas. The winner will receive a glamorous three-day/two night trip for two to New York Fashion Week in February 2011 to preview the Fall Collections, along with complimentary airfare and chic hotel accommodations, according to the company.

“Our customers are confident, active young women and we want to make sure they always look and feel their best. What’s a better way to celebrate looking great than at Fashion Week?” said David O’Mara, brand manager for Dry Idea. “We provide young women the confidence and comfort needed to allow them to perform at their best in the high-stress situations they face on a daily basis. They deserve a little break to play as hard as they work, and we’re excited to give two lucky women this opportunity to be on the forefront of fashion.”

Dry Idea has been a “high performance” antiperspirant brand since the launch of its roll-on form in 1978 and is depended on by millions of women worldwide. In the 1980s, Dry Idea was known for its famous commercials starring various celebrities giving advice including the tag line “Never let them see you sweat.”
