DSM Names New Regional Marketing Manager

Dawson will handle personal care in North America.

DSM Personal Care appointed Sonia Dawson as regional marketing manager, Personal Care in North America. In her new role, she will be responsible for creating the regional marketing strategy across all the segments of the personal care product portfolio, which includes sun care, vitamins, hair care and skin care. She will also further contribute to the personal care business results by leading the development of winning regional launch strategies and providing deep technical know-how and information to the sales force.
 
Dawson has 13 years of experience in the industry spanning marketing, sales and R&D with a strong background in skin care actives and botanicals, including five years as a senior account manager for DSM Personal Care. Prior to returning to DSM, her most recent role was as marketing manager – Botanical Actives for Sederma Inc. In that role, Dawson directed the North American marketing for the IRB plant cell technology portfolio, and set strategic direction for the growth of sales and exposure of the brand, with a focus on enhancing market penetration, customer engagement, sales force engagement and increased industry visibility.
