Ecolab Acquires Midland Research Labs

Ecolab, Inc., St. Paul, MN, announced it has acquired Midland Research Laboratories, Inc., a Lenexa, KS-based provider of water treatment products, process chemicals and services. Midland has sales of about $16 million, company executives said.

Douglas M. Baker, president and chief executive officer, Ecolab, commented, “This acquisition reflects Ecolab’s ongoing interest in water care products and services to the middle market, focusing on customers in our existing core markets including hospitality, health care and food and beverage processing.”
