Exotic-Inspired Nail Hues Arrive at Jin Soon

For Summer 2018, nail artist Jin Soon Choi partnered with New-York based luxury swim and resort wear designers, Megan Balch and Jaime Barker of Flagpole, to create this season’s signature look—adventurous sophistication. Consisting of three full-bodied shades, The JINsoon x Flagpole Summer 2018 Collection was inspired by the colors of the rainforests of Puerto Rico, and the exotic birds of Brazil.

“We fell in love with the colors of the city and rainforest in Puerto Rico on a trip there last summer, and it reminded us of one of our favorite birds we have always loved, the green-headed tanager from Brazil,” said Balch of Flagpole, “and we just knew Jin would be able to capture our vision and love of these colors perfectly.”

“I wanted to create a collection that embodied the iconic American style of Flagpole, and the sophisticated yet active women who wear their designs,” Choi said, “I really like their signature color-blocking and strong architectural lines. I felt I could collaborate well with their aesthetic.”

Named after the elements of the beach, and tropical waters, the three colors each possess their own unique characteristics. The JINsoon polishes feature a revolutionary double patented formula that delivers a long- lasting manicure with a rich and lustrous color payoff. The formula is also 10-Free and was created without the toxic chemicals formaldehyde, toluene, DPB, Formaldehyde Resin, and camphor. High-tech polymers and resins in the formula ensure longer wear and an extended shelf life while UV filters in each polish protect against fading and yellowing of color.
