Exsens has integrated 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics in the packaging of its warming massage line.

Th sexual wellness brand says the strategic move underscores its dedication to reducing environmental impact while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. PCR plastic will be used in its arousal gel line, too.

The adoption of PCR plastics aligns with Exsens’ ongoing commitment to sustainable practices, officials said. The company’s packaging has long been BPA-free and sourced in Europe, ensuring compliance with strict safety and environmental standards.

As such, Exsens’ sustainability efforts have recently been recognized with Bronze status from sustainability assessment organization EcoVadis.

“Sustainability is key and we have been working towards incorporating PCR plastics into our packaging for quite some time,” said Rebecca Pinette-Dorin, the North American brand manager at Exsens. “Our commitment to environmental responsibility and product quality is at the core of everything we do. This is just the next step for us, but we hope it will encourage other manufacturers in the sexual wellness industry to take the same initiative.”

Additionally, Exsens continues its support for social causes by donating a percentage of sales to Population Services International (PSI.org) each year. PSI.org is a global health organization.
