ExxonMobil Honors Marketers at Ceremony

ExxonMobil honored marketers at its 16th annual Golden Mummy and Pyramid awards, held in conjunction with Pack Expo in November. The awards recognized three companies for flexible packaging and four companies for labeling.

Golden Mummy honorees included: Sun-Maid Growers of California and converter Seville Flexpack Corp. for the Sun Maid Toons & Treats promo using Bicor 75 LBW; Lance Inc. and converter Printpack Inc. for its Poppers snack product featuring Metallyte 50 TSPM in a stand-up pouch lamination and Landshire Inc. with converter Columbus Cello Poly for packaging its sandwiches in high barrier Bicor AXT.

Pyramid winners were: Snapple Beverage Group and converter Gamse Lithographing Inc. for its use of coated Label-Lyte LS-447 on its Mistic 50% juices; Coors Brewing Company and converter Printera, for using ExxonMobil Chemical’s new film for cold-glue labeling applications, Label-Lyte 85 LP, on its Coors Light and Original beers; Procter & Gamble, converter Quality Assured Label Inc. and adhesive coater Avery Dennison for Vick’s Nyquil label using coated Label-Lyte 65 LL-344 pressure sensitive facestock and Mission Hills, a division of Colgate-Palmolive, Mexico, with converter Package Service Company for its roll fed label application of Suavitel brand fabric softener with Label-Lyte 350 LLG and Label-Lyte 408 LLG.
