Biosil Technologies, Inc. is promoting a new ingredient that promotes skin radiance and restructuring. According to the company, Silipearl (INCI: Silanetriol (and) hydrolyzed pearl (and) water) showed a 10% improvement in skin smoothing. Biosil also notes that pearl powder contains 16 essential amino acids, proteins and polysaccharides to maintain a high moisturization rate in the epidermis. In addition, Silanols are able to bind up water molecules and create water spheres. The pearl powder is composed of aragonite crystal, oligo-elements and minerals (calcium) that are essential to cell metabolism. Silanols are also involved in cell metabolism, according to Biosil.
