Gucci to expand beauty offerings with P&G.

Just as the interlocking “C” logo of Chanel is a symbol worldwide for elegance, so is the classic “G” for Gucci….and Procter and Gamble (P&G, another set of initials known around the world) knows a good thing when it sees it. According to reports, Gucci is set to broaden its fragrance brand into a full beauty house.


The Italian fashion company, together with P&G, its licensee, has inked a renewal of their agreement for the worldwide production, sale and distribution of fine fragrances under the Gucci brand. Under its new terms, the extended license now will encompass the entire beauty category, including the worldwide production, sale and distribution of fine fragrances, cosmetics and skin care products, according to reports.
