Glam4Good Pop-Up Distributes $4.6 Million for LA Wildfire Relief

Nonprofit Glam4Good hosted a free pop-up shop to empowering LA wildfire victims.

The event – held on March 7, 8 and 9 – united over a dozen community partners and welcoming in thousands of recipients to receive nearly 90,000 items of essential clothing and self-care products—totaling over $4.6 million in impact.

“As second responders, we know how crucial these additional phases of relief are,” said Mary Alice Stephenson, Founder & CEO of Glam4Good. “After first responders depart, who is there to help? The immediate focus is to help recipients find a safe place to stay. Now, they are more likely to have a space to take in these free essentials and really begin to rebuild—their wardrobe, their routine, their sense of normalcy. Our hope is we can continue to help ease hardships and recreate what’s been lost.”

The nonprofit’s free giveaway featured resources from some of the biggest names in fashion and beauty, providing clothing for work, school and play, as well as skincare, beauty products, footwear, accessories and more.

“Glam4Good is proud to be able to offer this level of support to the Los Angeles community in the wake of the wildfires,” Stephenson said. “There’s a collective desire to move forward and rebuild—but we can’t forget that the recovery is still underway for so many. Through the generosity of our brand partners and community, we have empowered nearly 2,500 recipients from 13 community partners in LA County, providing close to $5 million in new clothing and personal care products. This is a critical moment for the people of Los Angeles—and we’re honored to be in it with them.”
