The USA Field Hockey announced a premier partnership with GloProfessional, a leading skin care, make-up and hair care company dedicated to the beauty and integrity of women. The multi-year agreement will feature “Glo” on the front of the Women’s National Team jersey and represents the first ever corporate advertiser on the Women’s National Team uniform.

“Everyone at GloProfessional feels honored to be a part of the achievements of these world-class athletes,” said Sean Butler, president of GloProfessional. “We’re passionate about helping athletes perform their best when they’re competing and we take great pride in their belief and trust in the benefits of our products. The field hockey team shows the power and grace that comes from feeling confident in your appearance, making them a natural fit for the Glo brand. We are proud to work with these amazing women competing in the London 2012 Olympic Games.”

As the official uniform sponsor, the Glo brand will receive placement on the front of the Women’s National Team jersey and podium suits. Jersey-front sponsors are frequently seen amongst golfers, soccer teams around the world, Nascar and IndyCar drivers. In addition, the Glo brand will have prominent placement across all National USA Field Hockey events and media.

“GloProfessional represents an exciting addition to our family of premier sponsors, said Steve Locke, Executive Director, USA Field Hockey. Securing a uniform sponsor is a testament to the success of the Women’s National Team qualifying for London and the increase in membership numbers over the last year. We are pleased to be partnering with an organization that shares similar values as USA Field Hockey and is committed to helping us grow the game from the grassroots to the Olympic level.”

GloProfessional will also partner with USA Field Hockey on the Sun Safe Play initiative, an educational program designed to raise awareness on the importance of playing and practicing safely in the sun and the prevention of melanoma and skin cancer.
